ARTIST STATEMENT

This project taught me the basics of Photoshop frame-by-frame animation. I wanted to use the 30 seconds to tell a narrative story. I feel like I was able to achieve this by introducing the characters, establishing a relationship then introducing the twist of the meteor. I took inspiration from the clip art images I found online, using the dinosaurs as characters in my story.

I feel that this choice made the portfolio more personal to me. Looking back on my work through the semester, I feel proud of everything I've learned and the skills I've developed. Today the internet is used for communication, research and information, commerce, entertainment, and so much more. The World Wide Web is an information system accessed via the internet using web browsers. It is made up of interlinked hypertext documents, allowing a user to search for information and browse relevant documents. It was invented by Sir Tim Berners-Lee in 1989 as a platform for research and academic collaboration....
