ARTIST STATEMENT:
By creating a tag for my logo, I will be able to incorporate into my future work to add a personal touch and mark work as my own. In the image above, I experimented with color, layering colors on top of each other for a bold effect. Overall, I'm happy with how my tag turned out. The messy, spray paint look works pretty well with the shape of my logo. I think it will fit well with whatever work I incorporate it into.

The speaker explained the pen tool, type tool, rectangle tool, startle tool, curvature, and the difference between the selection and direct selection tool. I also appreciated the inclusion of keyboard shortcuts.   SKETCHES BUSINESS CARDS ARTIST STATEMENT In this project, I improved by InDesign skills my creating three business card designs. On each of these designs, I incorporated my name, logo, job title, contact information, and website. I used small graphics I found online next to each line of contact information. I felt that this gave the design a more professional look. Deciding how to best incorporate my logo into each design provided a challenge. In the end, I like how my logo adds to each design.
