ARTIST STATEMENT:
This project was an effective practice in creating and using masks in photoshop. The first picture was a little difficult and time-consuming but by the third picture, I was working smoothly. I think it's interesting how the different color schemes give each piece such a different mood. The custom scheme is bright and warm, creating a fun, pop-ey mood. The analogous scheme was very vibrant and green, creating a very alien, intense mood. The monochromatic scheme was shades of cool purple, creating a relaxed mood.

The speaker explained the pen tool, type tool, rectangle tool, startle tool, curvature, and the difference between the selection and direct selection tool. I also appreciated the inclusion of keyboard shortcuts.   SKETCHES BUSINESS CARDS ARTIST STATEMENT In this project, I improved by InDesign skills my creating three business card designs. On each of these designs, I incorporated my name, logo, job title, contact information, and website. I used small graphics I found online next to each line of contact information. I felt that this gave the design a more professional look. Deciding how to best incorporate my logo into each design provided a challenge. In the end, I like how my logo adds to each design.
