ARTIST STATEMENT

In this project, I improved by InDesign skills my creating three business card designs. On each of these designs, I incorporated my name, logo, job title, contact information, and website. I used small graphics I found online next to each line of contact information. I felt that this gave the design a more professional look. Deciding how to best incorporate my logo into each design provided a challenge. In the end, I like how my logo adds to each design.

The speaker explained the pen tool, type tool, rectangle tool, startle tool, curvature, and the difference between the selection and direct selection tool. I also appreciated the inclusion of keyboard shortcuts.
